Baby petrified of the bath all of a sudden

My LO did this around 13-15 months, bath time is still hit and miss but he's starting to enjoy it but you could try sitting in the bath with them and playing. Playing with water in the day too, like filling a basin with warm water and letting them play and get wet. These 2 things helped me, so it's worth a try maybe Xx

He enjoys swimming though? Hmmm…

We had the same, but with also refusing to sit down and cry. So, we spent a couple of days just having 'play time' in the bath to make it a fun, safe space. No water, just toys, and it seemed to have done the trick. Two days later, he was sitting and playing happily again with water in the bath

@Alana in the bath is he in a restrictive seat? My LO started hating it a few months ago crying all the way through bath time and it was because he was in a restrictive seat. We got rid of the seat and got an anti slip bath mat and now there’s never any tears and surprisingly he sits down more and is easier to bathe. He loves it x

Ok I’ll give it a try with me in with him and if that doesn’t work a dry bath. Fingers crossed 🤞
