Preschool asked for a meeting

My son has been in the nursery since 10 months, moving to toddler room and now the preschool. Never had any issues apart from a biting phase over a year ago. They’re very complimentary about him, never raised an issue. Today I got an email after I’d picked him up from manager and key worker asking for a meeting to discuss development and how he’s doing. I’m so anxious now that there’s an issue I’ve not noticed or been told about. I’m sure he’s meeting all milestones, toilet trained/growth/ speech etc. I don’t see any flags for ADHD/ASD and work with people who have these so feel I’d be able to notice traits. Anyone else had this or know what it could be for?

It may just be a routine thing, something they’re doing with all parents as key worker-parent communication is really encouraged in nursery settings. I recently had a message to come in to discuss development of my son but they called this a parents evening and I know other parents got this too. I wouldn’t be too concerned at this point x

We tend to have a catch up with key worker at end of every term

Thank you, we have termly written reports. I’ve seen other handed out in his class but not had his yet. Never had catch up meetings like this, I don’t know any other parents really at the school to ask either Maybe just a nervous first time mum😂
