Planned c section

Just over 24 hours each time. Left hosp the day after but both times in the early evening after having the c-section early afternoon x

With my son I went in on Wednesday morning, was supposed to go back to have him at 10am but didn't have him until 3:54 pm because they kept having emergencies, and went home Saturday morning. They gave me the option to go home on Friday but with me being a new mom I wanted to stay the extra night just to be safe about everything. I will probably go home as early as possible this time. I also have big babies so they had to keep an eye on his blood sugar to make sure it didn't drop.

I had my daughter via planned c section at 10am on the Monday and was home by 5pm on the Tuesday - honestly was the best experience all round!

If you don’t have any complications it’s at least 24 hours

I had my c section at 9am ish, ended up not being the day/time we planned as I went into labour a couple of days before. I was in 1 night then left about 8pm. This was more due to making sure i was set with breast feeding then waiting hours for them to sort paper work though

5 days 😭😭- unfortunately you can’t predict if there will be complications. My son with being monitored for breathing slightly high- I had high blood pressure/ pre eclampsia so between the two of us it was 5, almost 6 days.

I had my son on the 27th and we were out by the 29th. I was so ready to get out.

@Cheyann didn’t have a c section but here to say my son was born at 3:54pm as well!

In Aus it's 72 hour period (3 days) but I gave birth 9:30 at night, and left the next afternoon 🤷🏻‍♀️ even if they say you can't leave, you can lol, obvs if there are complications you'd probs need to stay

@Cara they kept having people that needed emergency c sections, since mine wasn't an emergency I got pushed back.

Had my section at 3pm and went home at 2pm the next day
