Breastfeeding, formula and pumping

How does everyone do it. I haven’t got a pump routine as of yet and I would like to have some more back up milk. During the night I do breastfeed and if my partner feeds him he’ll give my son a bottle of formula because I do get extremely tired, plus I might pump if my boobs feel full. To get a little stash going do people pump regularly if so how do they do it around breastfeeding because I don’t feel like I get much out when I do pump after feeding.

Commenting becoz im in the same boat

@Imane don’t it’s so complicated, I don’t want to pump then not have enough to give baby but they do say supply and demand

I pump my let down and do a session after breastfeeding to build my freezer stash.

My midwife advised to pump whilst feeding on the other breast and alternate breasts every feed

@Georgia I’m just scared it’ll go less, becoz my baby doesn’t drink so much. And with my first child, my breastmilk reduced so much till I found out pumping helps.
