BABY SCRATCHES EVERYTHING 🤣

Hey mamas my 6 month old scratches everything he puts his hands on , from the mattress to the sofa , walls you name it .. is this usually a thing? are they learning and is it a way to explore new textures. New mama here🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes! Mine does it too, it’s a stage of development. It helps them to learn to grab and pull things towards them and then later to pull themselves up x

When my son first started to walk outside, he would stop every few seconds to scratch the floor! It would take us forever getting anywhere because he had to scratch everything! When he was a newborn he had an allergic reaction that lasted a long time and that’s when he learned to scratch. After that, he would scratch everything! It goes after a while but it does seem like a very long while🤦🏽‍♀️

My girl is almost 8 months and still scratches everything, she started around 5 months 😂 I wake up sometimes and she is just laying there scratching the bed 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

Make sure to keep nails filed and trimmed x to avoid any injury on baby hands and damage to anything he scratches
