I can’t lie my life and my boyfriend had been stagnant for the past four years pretty much. Finishing uni and having foster children has brought newness (I don’t think that’s a word) but it’s changed us up a bit. My whole year hasn’t been be best but new happenings can bring new beginnings. I hope you have the best new beginning ♥️
When I got married, it was day 3 of power outage because of a winter storm. (Live in the country where even the water well is on an electric pump) We went to the gym to take showers and get ready.
While selling my house, I found a buyer off market and went under contract with a quick close. The contracts say you can’t materially change the premises. About a week before closing, my diamond earring fell off and slid beside the bathroom vanity and wall. I tried hangers, hooks, magnets, tape everything to get it out. I called a handyman and he said the only way would be to rip out the vanity. I asked for permission of the buyers to change out the vanity, their agent said no even though they planned to renovate. So they got a free diamond earring that I’m sure they (or their contractor) found almost immediately. Worst luck for me. Best luck for them 🥹
Covid hit, had the first vaccine & came out in horrible acne chest & back. It would clear up & then it came back. The year before my wedding I went to the doctors and they gave me cream but didn’t really do much. Then right before Xmas 2023 it was at it’s worse but I also had a UTI they put me on antibiotics and a cream and it helped massively, pretty much was nearly gone but then February came and it came back worse. Went back to Gp crying and that’s when they started on different kinds of antibiotics which none of them helped. wedding day approaching June 2024 and I was covered in spots. The week prior to my wedding the GP called me and told me that they spoke to a dermatologist who said to try me on another antibiotic, it actually was the one I had taking at Xmas for my UTI can you believe it! I was in the airport waiting to board my flight to my destination wedding. I still look back at my wedding photos and say I don’t like them. But had the best day. Congrats BTW!!!
We've tried to get married I think around 4 times. First time it was cancelled because of covid. Then we had a death in the family. Then we got so close, everything was planned and ready to go... and my MIL had a huge heart attack. It was around 3 months before the wedding but we didn't know if she would be out of hospital by then. I think there was one more reason, but honestly I can't remember. I kinda blocked it all out and refused to even talk about getting married for another year. But MIL is well and we have a beautiful daughter. We might try again next year. 😅 I hope you're better for your wedding day! Congrats!
