Painful area on the top of bump
Started feeling weird pain on the top of my bump (left side). It’s like burning, that’s where the baby’s heel usually is. A bit different to pinpoint where it is exactly, it comes and goes. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

@Catherine this is because of preeclampsia, they monitor potential symptoms. I phoned midwives yesterday, they said it’s stretching pains
I’m struggling with this too! I’ve been advised it’s just the skin stretching. Have you managed to find anything to help relieve it? It’s driving me crazy 😭
@Jessica no it’s just went after a week. So weird - the area was like a coin size and very sore, I could feel it when coughing or sneezing.

No but maybe call triage or your midwife. Only saying this as I was in triage yesterday and out of the one million questions they asked, one of them was if I had pain at the top of my bump. Didn’t get chance to ask why, before they were on to the next question x
