Feel like I can't leave the house as baby is always unhappy out

My baby is pretty happy at home, will amuse herself independently for a while too but she is always unsettled when we leave the house. She will tolerate maybe 15 minutes in the buggy, bassinet or the open seat. She will only go in a carrier if she's asleep. And she will be carried in arms for about 10 minutes max before becoming unsettled. Even when I try to put her bouncer or playgym outside she hates it. Hates the car but will eventually cry herself to sleep. I just feel really trapped as honestly it's not worth going out, it's so stressful and unenjoyable. My oldest was similar and I know this phase passes but it's really getting me down. Am I the only one?

Hey, my little boy was like this with the pram whenever I put him in he used to just cry and cry but the more I put him in it and let him just cry it out (as hard as that was) the more he got used to it.. I added some hanging pram toys to the bassinet and he loves the pram now, will fall asleep in it and play with his toys when he’s awake.. it’s the same with the sling he absolutely hated it at first but the more I put him in it the more he got used to it.. as stressful and unenjoyable as it may seem now it will get better you just have to persevere.. you’ve got this 💪🏽

No you’re not the only one my baby too But does she wear a lot of cloths ? Cause my baby had the same thîng when i started to make her wear just sleeping suit and a a jacket she sleeps all The way out

@Karis thanks for the reply and encouragement! I'm glad you have found something that works, though like you say perhaps it's also a case of just persevering. I have all the toys for pram/car seat but no luck yet. I think I need to just build it up and persevere

@Safaa ah that's good that helps. I usually don't have her in too many layers and add a blanket if needed. I learnt early on that babies usually hate big pramsuits!

I think I am also particularly stressed about this because after her first jabs she got so upset (maybe fainted- I think it was a breath holding episode) but she went completely white and stopped moving and I'm terrified of that happening again

My daughter loves being outdoors but not anywhere that's indoors and will scream bloody murder the whole car journey or when we go inside somewhere and she's in the pram so yeah super struggling also. I feel just as trapped and just defeated because I already have social anxiety and I can't hack her drawing so much attention to us with her screaming
