D and C op with endo - retained placenta

Hi, wondered if anyone had experience of having to have a D and C (suction op) postpartum because of retained placenta? I’ve been told it’s dangerous to leave it and I keep getting fevers and on lots of antibiotics still 5 weeks pp. The placenta tissue is stuck inside the endometrium lining, I’m wondering if the op will even work and they’ve told me due to endo that the op is very risky for me and can cause ashermans syndrome and more fertility issues. I’m feeling lost with two ‘dangerous’ options? Drained. Thank you in advance One stressed mumma xxx Grace

I had to do a DnC for a stuck miscarriage. And was told the same thing. At that point I was still trying to have children. It worked out good for me. But getting a DnC may be your only option and that can be scary if you want more children. But as woman we have to do these things sadly

I just had a D&C last week. My friend and aunt have had one as well. They all went fine for us. I did end up needing a laparoscopy to take my tube out as well. I had an ectopic pregnancy. I also had two non-cancerous masses on my ovaries and was told the tissue is dangerous to leave in.

I had a dnc prior to the birth of my baby because of a retained miscarriage

Thank you so much for sharing really appreciate it xxxx
