@Georgina thank you, think I’m going to do this and try them both out then xx
We bought ours when my son was 20 months originally as a travel stroller. Was perfect for holiday, fit on the overhead, folds up really easily and has a strap so you can put it on your shoulder. My son is now 2 years and 2 months and we use it as our daily pushchair. It's really small but he still seems to have a lot of room left in it. He's on the 99th centile for height so didn't think it would last long but he's still sitting comfortably In there. In terms of being flimsy I haven't had any issues, it is super super light. We sometimes have a little issues when going up a curb it almost unclicks at the top and feels like it has broken but it's only because the weight of my toddler counterbalancing it when going at an angle but if you are just cautious on how you go up curbs it doesn't happen. Other than that it's an amazing buggy!
I really didn’t rate the silver Cross clic when we looked at it for LB. We brought a Mamas and Papas Libro. Not cabin approved but he is nearly three and used it for evenings on holiday and just sometimes when been out for the day. I absolutely love it and was money well spent. Did cobbled roads, was used alot on a cruise. We now just brought Flip XT new new baby due x
@Melissa what was wrong with the silver cross? Ideally I’d like something cabin approved 😭 Are these options you’ve mentioned lightweight x
I have the clic, I have used it for holidays but I do think it feels flimsy for an everyday pram. But it’s easy to put up/ down and fits over head, so perfect for holidays. Got it when my little boy was a year old and he’s now nearly 3, so maybe the never one is better. Definitely go try different ones out if you can. Xx
@Maariyah I just didn’t find it very sturdy, when we had a look at it compared to others. My LB is pretty big too. We had previously had a pram with Silver Cross and we had a lot of issues with it. The Libro is light weight, it’s really hard as they all are pretty expensive. We just found the mamas and papas did an amazing job but was annoying as had to go under cabin on plane. X
We had planned to buy the clic, but ended up getting the bugaboo butterfly which we saw in store when we went to go and buy it. We love the butterfly - we found it a little more sturdy, and we use it as our everyday buggy now.
I tried both in the shop and preferred the Joolz aer so we went with that. It’s so easy to fold down (one handed), cabin approved (took with us literally down the aisle on the plane and put in overhead locker to Dubai), really light, good storage basket underneath. It’s a 22kg weight limit I think, I use it more for my 10 month old now but we bought it originally for my daughter who was 91st centile weight and height. The extras all cost money though so the bar going across cost an extra £40 I think but I got it in an offer so wasn’t as expensive. I think you’re better off trying them in a shop if you can so you can compare and see what you personally prefer. To be honest I think they’re all in some respects a bit flimsy but I think that’s what happens when you want a light travel pram - they’re never going to be as sturdy as a proper pram.
