Help!

I’m well into my second trimester and last night I started to have these pains in my lower abdomen. When I got up, had breakfast and what not I felt better. Then I sneezed and it caused an intense pain in my lower abdomen. After sometime, I felt okay again. But I’ve noticed everytime I go to lay down the abdominal pain would come on. Is this just ligament pain or should I contact my doctor? (I’ve tried to call twice and they didn’t answer so I thought I’d go on here before I try calling again)

Sounds like ligament pain, but doesn't hurt to check in with your doctor so they have a record of it! Try adding a support pillow or stuffing a blanket under your tummy when you lay down, and put a pillow behind your back for extra support. If you still need more support stick a pillow between your legs. Good luck!!

It could be ligament pain or (more likely) what they call lightning crotch. That happens when the baby leans against your nerves and causes sharp, shooting pain. Both are very normal and safe... Just very uncomfortable! Keep calling your doctor though 🤎

Ngl that sounds like a mix of round ligament pain and lightning crotch lol you should be fine but maybe try checking in w your doc again. I used a pregnancy belly band from the 2nd trimester onwards w my first bc of it.

This my friend is a clear winner of round ligament pain!!!!! I too am well into my second trimester and when I tell you that my pain is so bad and infuriating I am feeling so exhausted and overwhelmed from the lack of sleep that I get at night when I have pain in my pelvis and groin and during the day when I have intense lower abdomen pain on both sides of my stomach!

Definitely round ligament pain...I have a lil cold and have been sneezing well it cause very intense pain so bad it made me cramp also happened 3 times already...me trying not to sneeze now...
