Baby clothes shrinking!?

How are people washing their baby clothes? I feel like after 1 wash no matter which shop they are from they end up shrinking or just feeling really dry or the material goes really bobbly!! We have a baby setting on our washing machine for really solid stuff but I have just been doing a normal wash at 30 degrees 🤷‍♀️

Maybe a faulty washing machine ? Try and use a washing machine cleaner and drain the filter too x I have washer-dryer and this never happens . Not even when I put it in the dryer . I also wash on 30/40 degrees . Use fairy pods and Comfort baby softener. We mainly have clothes from H&M , Zara and Next

@Nicol all of our adult clothes seem completely fine though, it’s just the baby stuff. It’s almost like the quality of the actual material just goes a bit funny and I’ve just held some T-shirts up against new ones of same brand that haven’t been washed yet and they’re about an inch shorter! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Yes! I thought my boy was just growing out of everything but I think it’s just shrinking. I got 6-9 vests and after one use they’re tight! I’m not sure if it’s our washer or dryer causing it but the rest of our clothes are fine 🤷‍♀️

I give baby clothes a stretch when they come out of the washing machine and then air dry. Not had any shrinkage that I’ve noticed. We tend to have clothes from H&M, next, zara and tu

@Ayesha yes the best especially! They seem weeny!

I just used 40 or 30, bio and fabric conditioner. Not had any issues really 😕. Washing machine issues? All our clothes are a mix between M&S, Next and Mothercare..some Sainsbury's.

I wash mine at 30 but I think it’s the drying machine that shrinks them because mine still shrink 🫠

@Willow we don’t have a dryer so can’t be that our end. Oh well 😂
