Anyone else struggling to conceive for their next baby?

No advice, but I'm currently in the same position. 8 months of trying and no luck. Took 13 months with my first, so expected it might take a while. Doesn't really make it any easier though 😢
I think advice was the wrong word. I think I’m just looking to know I’m not alone. I’m so scared we won’t be able to have more kids and it’s starting to feel like the universe hates me 😕

If you think something is wrong, get a second opinion! My original doctor said everything was fine! She could not have been more wrong!
We got pregnant with our first baby the first month we possibly could, we weren’t even trying officially yet. But it’s harder for us the second time as well! We’ve been trying since November, since my baby turned 1, but no luck. I’ve been panicking a bit too, since it was so easy the first time. I did notice some changes with my cycle after my baby was born and I’ve started seeing doctors to see what’s up. I’m also 40 so don’t have much time left and I really want a sibling for my little one! You are not alone 🙂
I think it may be time for a second opinion. I just get so scared of what they’re going to say because I fear the worst. Although the last time a doc told me I wasn’t going to get pregnant without IVF I had a positive pregnancy test two days later. I’m just so scared. I hate that more people are struggling with their next one as well but selfishly I’m glad I’m not alone.

@Ash I’ve also read a book “It starts with the egg” and found it very insightful! I made some changes thanks to that and I’m hopeful it’ll work out. Maybe you could look at it too and see if you can find helpful information for yourself. I’m also listening to “9 months is not enough” right now, and that one is giving me a bit more anxiety and makes me wonder if my body is ready to be trying lol. Unfortunately time is not on my side, but maybe it will help someone else.
Yeah I think maybe the book will help me understand but it also probably wouldn’t hurt if I started dieting and exercising again. It took me a very long time to get out of the “eating for two” mindset. I’m just so lost at this point. I really hate when doctors say it’s gonna be easy because it makes me feel like I’m failing
Are you still breast feeding?
No, breastfeeding actually didn’t work out for us because my daughter was allergic to the breast milk protein
The way I made this same post 😭, I’ve always heard so many women say you become more fertile after your first child. But that’s like the literal opposite for me.
@Tristen Lawson exactly!! I’m feeling the same way. Especially since everyone In my feeds who had their firsts the same time I did are pregnant with their second and I’m over here like welp 😭
