When did you introduce bottle?

I’m think about pumping and introducing a bottle to give my nipples a break but I’m worried she may get bottle / nipple confusion. What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?

My son is 3 weeks old and my partner gives him 1 bottle before bed and we have done that for about a week now. He’s absolutely fine taking my nipple still during the day and also fine taking the bottle! I wanted to start a little earlier as I didn’t want him to not take a bottle if absolutely needed. It also lets me have a bit of sleep before doing the night feeds xx

We introduced a bottle on day 2 and she just has it once a day for her feed before bed. It hasn't caused any issues with breastfeeding and we're using mam bottles. I didn't want to leave it too late and be in a position where she wouldn't take a bottle at all x

We had issues with breastfeeding to start with so our little one started cup feeding. We then started breastfeeding on day 6. We introduced a bottle on day 12. He is fine with bottle and breast feeding xx
