Scan tomorrow early morning. How much to drink….

Don’t stress about it too much ! First time I did I drank loads (cause letter says full bladder) and needed to wee that bad i thought i was going to pee myself and I ended up having to go for a wee to let some out to be able to have the scan 🤣 … Go wee before u leave then drink a bit on ur way and I’ll be fine 🤣🤣

I did also have a ultrasound at 9wks that was external didn’t drink anything and could still see absolutely fine

I didn’t drink enough before my last scan (I tried but it took too long to make its way through!) and it was fine, the sonographer just had to use a bit more pressure but we could still see fine!

I had my scan this morning and drank half a litre of water an hour before my appointment time x

I literally drank nothing before my appointment, I’m finding it hard due to nausea and I had no issues at the scan at all, it wasn’t even mentioned.

Drink closer to your appointment don’t do what I did and nearly wet myself and had to go to the toilet then had to redrink 🤣

I had a full bladder and was told to empty it half way through as it was too full
