Where to start ?
Hey ladies!
My little boy is 2.5 years old and I feel like he might be getting ready to potty train but my biggest issue is he refused to sit on the potty/toilet naked and without a nappy. I obviously don’t want to force him but what do I do? 🫣

I very recently trained my little girl at the same age, we are a few weeks in now and she hasn’t wore a nappy in the day since and she’s doing amazing. After the first day or so she also started refusing the potty- I guess it was no longer was exciting to her. I originally went by the oh crap method but quickly adapted to suit her. You could try anything that incentivises your little one, we tried stars but she wanted the whole pack in one go lol, reading a story on the loo but what really worked for us is screen time. We have a routine that before we leave the house she watches an episode of Dugge on the potty whilst I get the bag ready to ‘squeeze a wee out’. It really works for us and helped her accept the toilet/potty. She doesn’t have TV everytime as she normally just tells us ‘weewee’ or ‘poopoo’ now and does it but for the times we want her to sit and try it’s one of the only things that will get her on!x
