Honestly you just have to ride it out and it also depends on your sleeping arrangements! For me I made sure my gal at every 2-2.5 hours during the day so she stocked up on calories during the day to prevent waking up regularly at night. We implemented a bedtime routine which includes feeding before and after a bath. White noise machine is key with a very dark room. We started the "SITBACK" method from Taking Cara Babies. She sleeps in her own room but for us that was from the beginning because I couldnt sleep hearing every little noise she made. Keep in mind day time routine and nap schedules are just as important. Shes a month older technically (5 week preemie) and got through the 4 month regression in about 3 nights
I have found this sleeping baby sounds on YouTube “baby sleeps in 3 minutes” the caption says and let me tell you it’s been working wonders with my 4mo
Honestly I don’t know. We are almost 5 months and this regression is horrible. Used to go to bed in half hour or less now takes 1-2 hours. Refusing to nap constantly now. The thing that has helped me is outside support so I can take space when I’m overwhelmed. Reminding myself that it’s temporary.
Thankfully, my LO has still been sleeping at night beautifully, but during the day, he absolutely refuses to nap 🥲. So I'm just taking what I can get. 😅
Here for some tips too. My baby was the same and now he doesn’t stay down unless he’s on his stomach and he wakes up as soon as I come into the room in the night so we bed share, which I didn’t want to do. I spoke with the doctor and she said to just keep trying to put him on his back at night even if it takes multiple tries and when he can fully roll over, I can let him sleep on his stomach throughout the night. She said if I get tired, it’s ok to bed share, but not to give up. She also said to try putting him in his own room, but idk how I can put him in his own room if he won’t even sleep in our room 🤦🏽♀️
