None of my NHS scans ever played an audible heartbeat.
Yes I did at my 12 week scan. In fact at every scan.
Did you have to ask for it or did they just play it to you ?
They just played it, but when you go in you can ask if you gunna hear the heartbeat
Yes I did. We didn’t have do ask they just played it for us 🫶🏻

I just had my dating scan and was told the heartbeat is only counted if baby’s heart is a problem. So I didn’t find that out and I didn’t hear it. Kinda crappy.
They played the heartbeat at my appointment without us asking, i thought it was standard.
@Tabz unfortunately not, had my dating scan today and she didn’t play the heartbeat, was very disappointed :(

She showed me the flicker on the screen of the Heart but never heard it
