Breastfeeding Witching Hour!
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or tricks for the evening fussiness, please? Our 9 week old is always fussy and cluster feeding between like 7pm - 10pm. During these periods, she just wanted to breastfeed constantly for like 3 hours straight- if she comes off on her own accord, she just cries constantly until you put her back on.
A soother doesn't help, i can only give her up to 2 bottles of formula a day as she gets gassy and uncomfortable of she's had more and we use one bottle to send her off to sleep at night around 9ish. Also, no matter how much I pump, I can only ever get a couple of ounces out if I'm lucky so never enough to make a bottle so we cant try a bottle of breastmilk either haha!
Any advice would be much appreciated as the evenings get a bit relentless now when I can't get up or do anything because she's permanently attached to me haha!
I havnt much advice as it’s a ride it out 🙈 but I found the midwives at the hub centres really useful for advice might be worth seeing where one is and popping along, my friend was successful in breastfeeding and I’m sure the one she went to had a lactation specialist would of been churchdown or brockworth hope that helps
