It’s normal my bubba is also 4 months and have started losing hair, sadly there’s not really much you can do about it. I’ve heard continuing your prenatal vitamins can help but I’ve seen no proof

Yup post-partum hair loss suuucks

Hey Yes very normal I found cutting my hair shorter Regular oil And vitamins helped

So normal, Bub is 3 months and everytime I wash and blowdry my hair I wonder how much I have left to lose 😂 Wait for the regrowth and all your new baby hair, that’s when the real fun begins!

Very normal. All that beautiful luscious hair we kept during pregnancy is now falling out. I’m 3 months into hair loss and it’s only almost stopping I think. Not pulling it out by the handful.

Both bub & I started losing hair at 4 months 🥲 pricey, but kerastase helped me the most!

Yup! Post-partum hairloss aka hormones changing is the culprit around 3-4m. First bub I was pulling out fist fulls. Second bub is better but still hairloss occurring

Month 3-6 yes. All grew back tho.

Mine fell out in clumps from around 4 months, and kept going for at least 4more months! It was awful! If I ever have another bub, I would seriously consider shaving my head it was that distressing!

Can sometimes be low iron. Get your bloods checked xx

Yes I have lost heaps and it’s nearly four months since I had my little boy it’s only just started to get better, it felt like straw and I was scared to even brush it as handfuls of hair would just fall out I’m hardly using any heat tools and I just wash my hair once a week or even longer I bought a couple of salon quality treatments which have helped as well as letting my hair air dry before using any heat if any at all ( only using straightener or blow dry if I’m going to an event) It’s much softer and I can feel it’s much healthier and less hair fall I also use a spray on leave in conditioner every morning and gently brush and not have my hair tied up for long periods of time I’m using a bonnet at night and I also use a silk pillow case (sorry for the long post just want to help other mummas out ) xxx

It is normal but it can also have to do with your thyroid! Defo worth a blood test if you’re worried ☺️

@Natalie thank you !

Thank you everyone!

Normal! It will ease

I learnt the reason is you don’t malt during pregnancy so the change in hormones at about 4 months pp causes it to play catch up! Scary but promise it all grows back at about a year.

Postpartum hair loss peaks at 4 months postpartum so you're right at its peak. It will get better, I promise.
