Good response to stims - low fertilisation rate
Hello, we have just gone through our first round of IVF. I responded really well to the stims, had 32 follicles which they expected to get around 22 eggs. During egg collection, we only got 13 with only 1 egg fertilising. They had put me on medication for a frozen transfer due to the amount of eggs they were expecting and the risk of OHSS. They have decided to freeze the one fertilised egg on day 1 with the hope to transfer on my next cycle. Are there any success pregnancy stories with only one embryo? 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I had 30 embryos over 3 cycles, 1 embryo made it to day 3 and frozen. He is now 2 years old 😘
I had 18 eggs, 3 fertilised and only 1 made it to an embryo. Transferred the next month due to OHSS. He is now 5 weeks old. Good luck, you got this!

I had 16 eggs collected, got OHSS, protocol changed to FET, ended up with only 3 embryos. Frozen all to have a break and recover (I was hospitalised with the OHSS). First embryo transferred and implanted successfully, baby is now 5 months old! I know they say it's a numbers game, but truthfully it only takes 1. It could be your lucky one.
