Changing from carrycot to seat

When have you changed the buggy over? LO is 5 months old and she’s super nosey so I know she’ll like it but I honestly can’t bring myself to change it I’m literally sat on the floor with it knowing I should but god it’s hard!! So many changes at this age I can’t cope!!!!

I reluctantly changed my son from the pram to the pushchair when he was 4 months old. He’s long so didn’t have much room and like your little girl was nosey. He was so much happier when we changed. Bitter sweet moment.

@Rachel I’ve been saying for the last two week I’m going to do it but every time I think about actually doing it I just want to cry!!!

I was the same but baby loves watching the world go by, and it helps her sleep! So win win

That’s me with every milestone every time he goes up a clothes size / does something new I want to cry! At first when using the push chair part I just didn’t sit him too high up and have him parent facing - no where near ready for forward facing haha.

I did it just as she turned 5 months as she was crying every time I put her in the carrycot

@Ria she doesn’t cry when I put her in and she’s happy in it but after a while she gets bored and fussy so I know I should and she’ll be happier

@Rachel literally I’m always like ah she can get another wear out of that 🥲🥲🥲🥲

We changed just before 5 months (we needed to take a stroller on holiday, but we would've changed anyway) because he literally couldn't fit in it anymore LOL He was happy in it, but only when ready to take a nap. Now with the pushchair I can take him out when he's awake and he's quite happy looking around (for a bit, at least). We used it all the way down, until he got better at sitting up. Honestly, as long as you have the option to lay it down, go for it. I hear a lot of people saying "yeah but you should wait until 6 months", cool, but if he physically doesn't fit?? Like, he might've been happy touching top and bottom, but we were struggling to get him out because we didn't have space around him to get our hands in 🙈

I changed mine at 3 months. He is above 99th percentile (no longer on the chart) so, I had no option really. He was just too tall.

We’ve just changed ours over (she’s nearly 6 months) but I don’t think she likes it 😂 it’s like she can’t get herself comfy to fall asleep so will just keep trying - she also doesn’t like the straps on 🙄 xx
