Anatomy scan

Had my anatomy scan the other day. Tbh I’m a little scared cause he told me she’s in the 4th percentile as she’s measuring a whole week and a half behind my due date and it’s worrying me. He said he wasn’t worried, but he wanted me to come back in 6 weeks to check her growth. He being the specialist we had to go to because of my age and testing positive for down syndrome which she doesn’t have so one worry aside and now onto another one. 😩 anybody else had this happen and their baby be totally fine?

Yes, I had this with my first and she was totally fine. I think her due date was just wrong tbh. Now she's 20mo and 80th percentile

This is me right now, we just learned our daughter is in the 3rd percentile this morning. We’re seeing a specialist, hopefully, within the next week.

@Kainyn I’ll keep y’all in my thoughts. I go back to the specialist on May 5th to check on her again.

What is your due date based on? Last day of period or did you have a 1st trimester size and dating ultrasound?

We had our anomaly scan last Friday and the baby has BPD at 5th percentile and AC at 4th. EFW is 11% but they sent us for another scan in 2 weeks. Placenta is working well so not sure why it could be but we are all over the place at the moment! I think they overestimated me at the 12-week scan but still!

@AmyB my LMP. But also she was measured at my 14w1d appointment and she was off by one day at that appointment and was measuring 14 weeks

@Star could be tech error, but they will probably do a follow-up in 2 weeks or so to be sure. If there’s no other concerns (marginal cord insertion/2 vessel cord/etc), then I wouldn’t worry too much.

@AmyB I really do hope that’s all it is and I have a follow up with the specialist on May 5th.
