C-section hospital bag

I'm due my second baby in June and am opting for an elective C-section this time. What should I pack in my hospital bag? I've got things sorted for baby, but drawing a blank when it comes to what I'll need for myself. My first was born in lockdown, and was a natural vaginal birth, so I had to make sure I had everything I could possibly need with me as I wasn't allowed visitors. This time will obviously be different. Did you find anything particularly useful in the hospital? Anything you wished you'd taken with you?

Flip flops/slide on shoes Tena lady nappies

Long charging cable for you phone. I took a 3m one and it meant I could move around the bed more when on my phone.

I’ve started packing mine as well, I’ve gone for; Frida disposable c section briefs Breast pads Maternity pads Flip flops Nighties x3 and a light dressing gown Comfy summer dress to come home in Usual toiletries I’ve definitely packed more than I need to, but would rather have more with me than have to get my partner running around.

I packed everything I need and didn’t feel like I missed anything. X2 Maternity PJs - easy access for breastfeeding 1 pack Tena underwear- carried on using for 3 weeks Toiletries Sliders for showering/ walking around X4 pairs Warm socks X1 co ord lounge set as my Going home outfit X1 maternity bra Small fan - although I didn’t need it my hospital had fans mounted on the wall by each bed. Small cartons of Apple juice and orange juice x3 of each Protein bars or breakfast bars x1 pack I took a pack of mint teabags- because you do get gassy after C-Section

Don't forget chewing gums, it helps with gas x
