It gets better but having had four children when it happens varies greatly! Daylight savings comes soon, maybe that'll help push bedtime a tiny bit less earlier! X
Mine has bene waking between 2-5am for nearly two weeks due to nipple injury and reduced massively breastfeeding whilst it heals if it will whilst still feeding twice a day 🙏🙏my son is two and autistic things are hard, I'm knackered, I'm hoping that not feeding him in the night wakings will help us both sleep more
Some children are early birds but 4/5am it’s too early. My daughter was doing the same and the issue was we were expecting her to sleep too much. She’s a lower sleep needs child so if we go to bed too early or, when she was still napping, she was napping too long during the day she would wake this early. Even now, she’s 4yo and she wakes up at 6am 🙄 she goes to bed at 8pm, so it’s only 10hrs (4yo are expecting to sleep between 10/13hrs, so she’s on the lower end) but if we put her to bed earlier she wakes up earlier, if we put her to bed later she still wakes up at 6am 🙄 I’d try reducing daytime sleep or introducing a later bedtime (changes need be consistent for 1/2 weeks before seeing any changes).
Thank you everyone xxx
What time is his bedtime? And nap time? My little one was waking up before the sun rose too, but he only has one late morning nap now, so I can assure you it does get better 😂🥹🫶🏻
