second what parker said! headphones have been a game changer ( especially the ones with the muffs ). and to ask for help! being a autistic parent is so hard! having someone who can step in for a little helps a lot! since i'm a single parent i use my daycare as my support system. having a schedule also helps ( mainly nap times and bed times, helps so much ) nap time is at 12 - 2 ( i have a daughter suspected to also be on the spectrum so nap time helps both of us regulate ) and bed time is at 9p. i noticed even getting an hour or two to myself helps a lot... idk i hope this helps!
As much as possible, make time to prioritize your needs and take care of yourself…My daughter is on the spectrum and had sleep, sensory issues, and colic from day one. She’s now 11 and she still has major sleep issues, but has finally progressed to sleeping in her own room which has been a major milestone. Utilize any support, family or your husband and make sure you are taking breaks and have some form of down time to recoup.

🫂 it does get overwhelming. I forgot headphones existed for the first 14 months of my sons life, once I remembered and allowed myself to use them life got a lot more bearable again. The other helpful thing for me is like a general timeline not really a schedule but like having “landmark times” like if I were to wake up at 6, the first landmark time would be 9, then it would be 12 or 1, then it would be 3 or 4 & so forth til I got through til 10pm
