Low laying posterior placenta
Im 12 weeks 5 days and I just recently had my NHS detailed 12 week scan, everything fine but I was told my placenta is low laying and posterior…now im paranoid. The lady didn’t seem concerned at all and dr google 🤪 says it can move more up as the baby grows, does anyone else have or had this? X

They can absolutely move up, it’s why she wasn’t concerned :) have another look at 20 weeks
Even if it doesn’t move up, low laying is fine! X

With my son my placenta moved to low lying in the 2nd trimester, by 32 weeks it had moved back to a normal position. Most of the time I think it moves by itself the further you get x
