Baby gasping for fun??
Bit of a random one but has anyone else’s baby learned they can gasp for breath and seem to do it for fun? She will do it when excited and to get my attention and it literally sounds like she’s having an asthma attack but she’s smiling and laughing whilst doing it?! Wondering if she’s learned a new sound and is fixated on it at the moment as she’s doing it all day long but is perfectly fine otherwise 🤦🏽♀️

@Lucy it sounds awful as if she can’t breathe but then she will giggle or ‘talk’!😂it’s like she’s trying to make a noise but whilst breathing in. It just sounds absolutely dreadful and I bet anyone listening to her will think she’s got breathing problems 🤦🏽♀️

YES my son did it for a couple days maybe a month ago and is now doing it daily it sounds horrendous too 😂
YES OMG, I was so concerned the first time she did it 🤣
Yep she panicked me doing it the other day and my partner was like does she have asthma now? 😂

Oh my goodness yes!!! She’s 7 months and started doing it recently and it was terrifying me to start with! I hate it when she does it as it sounds awful! But you are not alone 😂
