2nd baby here also and I started around this time 4yrs ago so whilst my hubby has our 3.5yr old lb I'm hitting the shops to buy the essentials what I will say is look on vinted for sealed unopened bottles of spritz for bits I got one yesterday for £8 with delivery
I'm going to start buying at least one thing for hospital bag from this week, as I feel like I'm going to forget something which planning for the baby's things x
@Jess For the first baby, I took full size toiletries as though I was leaving for about 6 weeks 🤣! I’m having an elected section this time rather than an emergency c section, so I know that a mini toiletries such as a small shampoo and conditioner is more than enough because more than likely I will not be arsed to wash my hair! I’ll be washing it on the morning 🤣! I will say everything frida mom is so good! Especially their disposable underwear. And the lilet maternity pads too, stock up on them ! X
@Laura Yes!! Vinted is so good. I was a snob for the first one and did everything brand new. I’ve just got some maternity bras BNWT for £7 rather than £30! So I’ll take that as a win. I’ve heard spritz for bits is unreal. You’ve got a lovely bargain there x
@Paige perfect! Check TIK Tok for their pack hospital bag videos, these are so helpful in remembering things! X
Snap but first was also during covid for us so I think we had reason to be a tad snobby lool but this time we're like the clothes are being washed at least twice before myself or our little girl is going to be wearing any of it same as our lb most of he's nursery clothes and shoes come from there now as they just get ruined!!!!! But definitely look at some bits and bobs on there I've currently looking at the ice pad packs on there
If you are having a vaginal birth 100% recommend the ‘peribottles’ literally helped so much with my first during those first few days postpartum x
I’m planning on making a start on mine soon and it’s my first baby, what kind of toiletries did you buy?x
