@C he’s always been a difficult child, colic as a newborn, doesn’t sleep well at all and always generally whingey and crabbit but the violence is totally new in the last couple of weeks x
Does he attend nursery? I think this age can be difficult as they want to do more but can't communicate that well but if he has always been fussy it might be worth an opinion. My little one is chill but she has recently started hitting too when I take something off her or when I try to put her in the pram etc x
@C No he doesn’t attend nursery yet, my partner has ADHD and i think our sons honestly going to be the same as him with how he is x
Yeah there is a chance, I don't think they diagnose adhd until a certain age but still get on to the HV. But even with no diagnosis you can put things into place to help him once he does learn to communicate better when he's older. There are good support groups on Facebook too x
Please don’t take this the wrong way but does he watch the iPad / phone have a lot of screen time? There is links to behaviour and that xx
@Vicky he has no iPad at all and only gets 1 hour screentime in the morning as I get ready for work which is usually miss Rachel or bluey other than that no xx
Yeah that’s nothing at all so defo not that , I would look to have him assessed just so you can help him too as he must be feeling frustrated when h having these tantrums , really hope you get sorted and it helps xx
@Vicky thank you!x
I would reach out to your health visitor. Has he always been difficult or is it new?
