Baby bed recommendations for a vw transporter

Hoping some can help us please 🤞🏼We have a VW T6 Transporter with a double swivel seat on the front passenger side. We want to start taking our 8mo old daughter away with us for some mini adventures, we’re just a bit stuck on where is best for her to sleep. Does anyone have any recommendations for any sort of travel cot / bed? Thank you! X

Sorry, I haven’t anything helpful to add but we’re looking to get a bigger camper soon (currently pregnant and only have two seats in ours). What are you planning to do once your daughter is too old to have a car seat in the front seat? My understanding is that something like a high backed booster can’t be used in the front.

Interested to see what other people are using… we have a T4 and are going away soon with our 4 month old. We are hoping to use our pram bassinet on the front seats however he may be too long for it by the time we get out. There isn’t much wriggle room for him now if I’m honest (he is a very long 4 month old!) so not sure if this will work. Our first trip is going be one night about 30 minutes from home as a test run to work out logistics. So no answers as such I’m afraid. I’ve seen pop up cots like this you can get but I’m not sure how I feel about them on the seats? https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007Y2P58O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Eq1rxbP3YDHX8?_encoding=UTF8&tag=vwt4forum-sl-21&dplnkId=0d1633a2-5e16-4582-adee-807a6ab65e8b&nodl=1 would be interested to know if anyone else has used them?

You can get special van cots to go on the two front seats ☺️

Initially I coslept downstairs with my son and my husband slept in the pop top, then when my son was about 2 we bought one of these which goes over the front seats. We have a T5 https://stitchesandsteel.com/products/front-bunk
