My baby was born at 9:30 am and I had a 7am arrival on the delivery ward. We were the first ones on the day.

I was the first one on the day too (had a 7am arrival) and my baby was born at 9:22

Mine was planned for 11:00 however due to an emergency section being needed was about 11:45. usually your in within a few hours but obviously if emergency surgeries are required then it can get pushed back x

The night before we got told to come in for 11am and start fasting at 2am. We arrived at 10:30am and was placed on a room with 2 beds. The midwife and Anaesthesiologist came in to do the cannula, go over the procedure and give us the gowns for the theatre. Didn’t end up going down until 4pm due to others coming before us

I had to arrive at 8am & went in at 9.30am x

I was second slot of the day, but it was delayed so went to theatre at 10 for prep but actual surgery started at 11. My hospital ranked the elective sections based on risk, so the woman before me was 40 years old, ivf, twins! And I had placenta praevia x

I arrived for 07:00 and was third out of three scheduled that morning. I reckon I went down about 11:30. Baby was born 12:17

I was there at 7am went in at 12pm.

7am arrival to the hospital but didn’t go down until after lunch baby was born at 13.55pn

Not until 14.00 as emergencies came in, baby was born 14.40.

I’m due to go in at 7am next week. I asked on the phone what the general plan was and she said it depends on your slot. There are 3 women in on my day, all arriving at the same time as me and they aim for us all to be done by 1:30pm. Doesn’t give a more specific time but a bit of a general idea 😊 we’re all surgically low risk apparently so any of us could be first. It’ll depend how many are in on your day/the risks of you all will have been looked at to determine your slot!

7am arrival, I was 1st down at 8.30, baby born 10.08 (few complications with spinal, hence the delay in baby being born)x

I arrived at 7am, and didn’t go down till 2pm as 3 emergencies came before me! I was SO hungry 😂

Arrived at 7 am both times, both times i have been first scheduled due to medical conditions, I've gone in at 11:45 am and 9:30 am

I’ve had two - both were 7:30am arrival and I was second on the list both times. Babies were born at 10:49 and 11:09

Same I arrived at 7 am . They let me in the theatre at 4 pm as I was the last one to get in . There were other 4 ladies before

@Emily the thirst and hunger is definitely my issue with having to wait. I had a failed induction with my first and they didn’t tell me I wasn’t allowed to eat once put on the hormone drip until I was already on it. My hospital have a separate theatre for planned sections so I think they need to end up with a lot of emergencies for it to be pushed back that much.

@Elettra sounds like you got very unlucky!

@Emily I wondered if they generally done them in order of risk. You don’t know what others situations are but that would definitely work better for me than if they just go through their list alphabetically. I’m a W surname so always and up at the end of every list.

I arrived at 7am and was first on the list as I'd been in induction then changed my mind and wanted a c section, baby was out at 9.24

Had a 7:30am arrival, ended up being lots of emergencies but she was born at 13:40 xx

It will be done in order of risk. I am always first (after the emergencies) due to allergies and other medical conditions.

I am a V surname and went first. It just depends if there are any csection emergencies on the day and would cause a reshuffle to the schedule.
