Period after C-section

How's your period after the C-section? It's been 10 months, and I'm exclusively breastfeeding. I've already had one period about 2 months ago, but no sign of the next one... Is this normal?

I got my cycle at 10 weeks PP while exclusively breastfeeding and it has progressively gotten worse every month. I’ve had six cycles and hate it every time.

It's very normal to be irregular during the first year pp. I'm also breastfeeding, got my first period at 10 weeks pp and haven't had another one, now 5 months pp.

My period still hadn’t returned 18 months after my C-section, and I exclusively breastfed my first. I’m currently pregnant with my second, who I managed to conceive without my period ever coming back. Also, I don’t think the method of birth has anything to do with how long it takes for your cycle to return. It’s hormonal factors that have more of an impact, rather than the method of birth.

All the time you breast feed your periods can be irregular. Your hormone ballance is different while you breast feed, which affects your period. I've only had 3 so far. I always used to have a long cycle (36 to 42 days) and it's back to that

i've had two kids girl.. breast fed both of my kids had to C-section.. it takes a while for your body to regulate with the hormone and all, give it a couple of years

It took 18 months for my period to resume after my first. Now I am 5 months pp after second baby and still no period. Also ebf both times and c section both times although I don’t think that matters.

After vaginal birth I exclusively breastfed and my cycle came back at 14 months pp. I had 3 irregular cycles and then was pregnant with my second. I’m only 4 months pp with my second from a c section. I feel like it would be the same. Prior to having children I had a cycle that was like clockwork.
