My LB is 15months next week and isnt walking either, he still cant sit from laying down, doesnt stand/pull to stand etc. He only started bum shuffling forwards a couple weeks ago! He only really says TaTa, Mama & Dada & shakes head for no. So hard not to compare- everyone says they will do it in their own time etx but doesnt make you worry less❤️
You ever watched Bluey "Baby race"? If not I'd recommend sitting down and watching it. Your little one will learn things at his own pace, with my first I was constantly checking milestones and when they should hit them etc. But by my 4th I've learned to just celebrate it when it comes! Maybe his brain is focusing on his fine motor skills or pattern recognition, every day his brain is taking in information and learning, and new skills will emerge when they're ready. Give it a little more time, and if you're not seeing any progress in a few months then reach out to your health visitor but at this age I wouldnt be concerned xx
Hi. Mine isn't saying anything other than Mama and isn't walking either. He doesn't eat too. We have been weaning him since he was 6 months old but nothing. He's on milk still 😭 so I know what you mean. I hear daily oh why dont you try xy and z. It can get very upsetting. All babies are different. You might feel like your behind on milestones but you will definitely be ahead of some.
I’m in the same boat, I feel like she should be further along developmentally but every babies different and they say not to worry about the walking until they’re 18months x
My baby isn’t walking or talking but is getting closer every day. He’s desperate to walk and I can’t wait too but I know I’ll miss his little crawl! 😭 try not to worry and just love these stages - he’ll soon be a moody teenager 😂
Also the Bluey episode mentioned above is a must watch, my LO isn’t bothered above TV yet but Bluey is my new favourite 😂
Mine isn't walking or pulling to stand but she is rapid when bum shuffling. We think she has hypermobility as it runs in my family so we referred to children's therapy and have her first physio appointment on Tuesday.
My baby has only just started to grasp walking and she’s nearly 15 months. And with the talking aswell she only has about 6 words she can say. Honestly don’t worry (I know it’s easier said than done) I was worrying about my baby not walking then she started trying. it’ll just come from no where one day x
My baby is 14 months old and only babbles mamamama and daddaddad but doesn’t say them with any meaning. We thought we were nearly walking as he would walk between me and dad when we stood him up but seem to have gone backwards with that as he no longer wants to stand, he’s started walking round on his knees instead 😅 my HV keeps saying he’s behind and we’re having an appointment every 2 months to fill in a questionnaire about what he can and can’t do, and she’s stressing me out more than anything about it!
Mines walking but only says hiya. I know what you mean, I see kids my sons age with easily over 10/15 words and it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong x
