My surgeon after both said no to binders and belts. They can make your core lazier and actually hinder your wound healing. My stomach went back to normal both times on its own and I didn’t need any support
I used mine when I was doing a lot of walking or standing, it honestly helped my back a lot! I’ve had 3 c-sections and used it for that and by 3-4 weeks pp, I didn’t really use it anymore. I’m 9 weeks pp now and pretty much feel back to normal and no more stomach or back muscle aches.
I haven’t used mine I prefer to tension my transverse abdominal muscles with my actual muscles rather than rely on some outward source for stability especially after my c section. 4 weeks pp and I’m finally feeling my body come back to normal; I don’t know if it would be the same if I had been relying on the belt through this time. But that’s just me. Can google transverse abdominals or tva muscle engagement videos or look up functional patterns that system does a great job of teaching tva engagement
