I pushed for less than 10 minutes on both. My second one i had the on call obgyn (who was amazing) I had just pushed through my second contraction and she said 'okay, we are going to stop for a minute so your body can get used to it and you don't tear here, oh just kidding, your uterus is going to push him out for you' and ta-da he was born. Like my uterus did the hard work for me lol. I think he took like 5 minutes My first one i pushed for 8 minutes. I pushed through 3 contractions.
About 1.25h but I've been told it's very different depending on whether you've had an epidural or not. Without, you start pushing as soon as you are fully dilated so you end up pushing longer. With the epidural, you may not feel the urge to push right away so they might let the baby descend slowly and you only start pushing actively when the baby is almost out. So it's like comparing apples to oranges. Of course, it also varies greatly for a ton of other reasons but I'm just pointing out that we don't even use the same starting point for everyone so it's even harder to compare.
I pushed for 10 minutes, but was in labor for 28 hours
