My baby is breastfed but sometimes mid feed she’ll cough/gag and get squirmy which our pediatrician said can often indicate swallowing gulps of air. It usually resolves if I burp her and then go back to feeding. Not sure if it’s the same for a bottle feeding but might be worth a shot!

Hi! My baby did a lot of this (mostly sounded like gag/cough/choking) the first couple weeks (we use Dr browns anti colic) and I had to go from a 1 size nipple to preemie while she worked on strengthening her suck / swallow reflex. She is 5 weeks now, we are back to size 1 nipple and she prob only does this now once or twice a day. My doc called this lyrngomalacia (sp?) (which they grow out of) .
