Baby acne or CMPA ?

My 6 week old has these red bumps which started of on his face (so I assumed it was baby acne) however he’s not got it on his face, a bit on his chest and couple near his elbows. He also gets bad tummy and poops every 2/3 days. I’ve noticed his poos have gone from being thicker yellow seedy poos to now really watery yellow. He arches his back when hes not been for a poo almost like he’s got trapped wind or something. He doesn’t have any reflux or any vomiting. He will sometimes go red in the face and randomly scream during sleep. Not sure whether above are just normal signs of trapped wind or whether they are symptoms of CMPA Another photo in the comments

Looks like normal skin stuff to me and sounds like regular digestive things for kiddos at 6 weeks. I was told to expect a change in bowels around 6 weeks and to not be alarmed if they don’t go poo for several days! My girl (5 weeks) screams until she toots! Then it’s like nothing happened. She also will get red a little from fussing / pushing / grunting when she goes.

My son has the same bumps! Has flared up since last week. I’ve been trying to figure out what it is, but not sure if it’s something I should reach out to his pediatrician or not.

My son had the same thing! Started out as what I thought was normal baby acne on his face and then it spread to his chest, back and arms. It looked just like that! I was told it was normal and we didn’t have any other symptoms of CMPA but I felt in my gut that it might be due to the cows milk so I completely cut out dairy and now it’s been 2.5 weeks and he has no red bumps or acne at all! It can’t hurt to try cutting out dairy and see if it helps. It worked for me and now his skin is the best it’s ever looked!
