@Shahnaz thank you so much!
Your very welcome and feel free to message me if you have any more help with this. I completely understand you sadness, with my last boy I had a very infected clogged duct. It came on literally over night. When I went to sleep it was just sore and it woke me up so swollen it felt like it was going to bust. I had to have it lanced and drained and could not feed on that side for about 2 months. After a lot of work I was able to get my milk back on that side and feed my son until he was 2.
@Shahnaz thank you for sharing! I’m so glad it worked out in the end
Your welcome hope it helps!
That breast could just not be working well with the pump. Did you try to hand express that side. Massage the breast first to warm up then hand express.
@Nai I did not! But I will! Thank you!
I know some moms prefer hand expressing. They get the most milk. My lactation consultant said we can hand express first and then connect to pump to help get things started. Drink body armor, water, pre or post natal pills. Make sure you are eating enough calories and protein. These will help maintain your supply Cluster feeding is coming which will increase the supply too
@Nai these are excellent tips! So grateful
You have to makes sure your baby nurses from both sides equally, make sure that you are eating lots of food and vitamins that help you produce milk get losr of rest, make you are sleeping when your baby sleeps stress can also hinder you milk. And pump or let you baby kinda use that side as a pacifier, the stimulation will help with production. Not an expert but mom of 7.
