No colostrum or anything

I have no colostrum in one boob and maybe a few drops of clear liquid in the other. I’m nearly 38 weeks. Is this normal? I’m hoping to breast feed but worried this is a sign I can’t. Thanks for any thoughts xxx

Honestly don’t worry about it, I couldn’t get any for my first pregnancy and had a huge oversupply when the baby arrived. How much you can get now doesn’t mean anything.

I'm exactly the same. How much colostrum you produce prior to birth is no indication of how much milk you will have after. Some produce lots and some won't produce much at all prior. The key is that once baby is born, you put baby to breast as much as possible and have lots of skin to skin.

I managed to get nothing, not a single drop from any boob so I gave up. I'll just wait till the baby comes, and she can have it straight from the boob after birth.

It’s normal!!

I had 0 sign of any milk with my first baby until he actually came out, this time round my boobs have been leaking since 26 weeks!!

I didn’t ready feed my first born- I pumped for 2 weeks and gave up lol cuz of college xx

I’m in the same don’t worry

I'm 36 weeks and no sign of leaking at all. It can also take a few days for milk supply to come in after birth too, so I wouldn't panic right now

Ok amazing thanks so much everyone that’s so helpful! Has anyone had one boob leaking only? And if so is that normal too? X

With my first I couldn’t get any colostrum apart from a few drops and I breastfed until 8 months ❤️
