@Lora Woolhouse ywah it’s so difficult, it’s almost like they aren’t tired because they know it’s light outside. She ends up in our bed halfway through the night which is fine but ever since having really light mornings she was getting up before her dad even got up for work and he gets up at 6:30 which isn’t a huge problem but I enjoy my sleep 😂so we had to put up a blanket in the window as we don’t have blinds just yet
Yeah my little one is in with me at the moment! I’m pregnant and working so any extra sleep I can get I’ll do whatever 😂💀 and we’re the same we’ve popped a blanket over the curtains! We did it last summer and it did the job saved us going out and buying one hahaha!
Dunhelm ultra blackout curtains they are fab never had a problem with light mornings/nights 😊 we also have good blinds up
We have a blackout blind under the blackout curtains. Between the two it's a pretty effective set up! But I'm dreading it still being light during evening wind down!
I’ve used the tomee tipee black suction blind since he was a baby then I have a roller blind on top, it’s perfect. I use during his naps too!
My lg had about a 45 minute meltdown of all meltdowns over an hour ago as she wanted to go to the park as it was still light and didnt believe it was time for bed and we have blackout curtains but she still knew it was light outside 🤦♀️
Tommee tippee blackout blind!!! Then his normal blind and curtains. Godsend x
We have a Tommee Tippee black out blind as well as black out curtains, works a treat!
We got some black velcro blinds from amazon. You cut them to size for your window and put the velcro on the top and bottom 😄 there is literally a slither of light either side, it has definitely helped him sleep longer the last few nights!
We’re struggling too! My 2.5 year old keeps saying but it’s morning!! 😣 I’m hoping as the days go on they get into more of a routine with it!
