Best breast pumps

I’m having my first baby and I’m hoping to breast feed. Could you please recommend the best breast pumps! Thanks

I had a spectra s2 & then the spectra s2+ could not recommend it enough!

To be honest i would just see how things go - you might not need one! I got all kitted out with high tech expensive ones with my first and then only managed to use them once i started work. I found it impossible to find time to express around baby needing feeding and found sterilising etc all a bit much on top of getting used to looking after a newborn. This time around with my second baby i only have a manual medela one which cost me £15 and it is far more efficient and i am somehow managing to express here and there waaay before being back at work (baby is now 10w old). So you just don’t know how it will go, whether it will fit in with your routine, whether you’ll need one at all - definitely no rush on getting one 😊

Everyone pretty much seems to say the Spectra wins as a main pump. Most other pumps are secondary. Theres an amazing Instagram account that teaches you the ins and outs, everyone seemed to recommend her and I saw why!! linking it below https://www.instagram.com/onewiththepump?igsh=MTdscjN6aHB3bHV1NA==

Thanks all! I’m maid of honour for a wedding a couple of months after I’m due so wanted to be able to express for that. But also would love for dad to be involved on the feeds ☺️ I’ll take a look at the spectra and also the insta page !

A Hakka is cheap and would do the job put it in other side when feeding and freeze or keep in fridge so dad can get involved and so you have stock in the freezer then when babies here if you wanna pump full time then you can invest in a pump but if your wanting to bf predominantly apart from a few outings and some night i wouldn’t waste the money x
