Twelve month old twins- one has been properly walking from 11 month, the other can only stand independently and is absolutely no where near walking, I can’t even see it happening in the next few months.
@Lucy yeah I thought it was still early but have people saying to me is she not walking yet so I’m like should she ? Xx
@Natalie it really shows all babies are different but it’s just when people keep saying is she not walking yet mine walked at 1 your thinking should she be at that stage now. But I know she still young I do think walking independently is a bit away yet for us x
My little girl was one on tbe 17th, she can't walk at all yet, or pull herself up or cruise. She crawls and rolls everywhere x
My little girl was 1 on the 20th and she’s also not walking yet! She’s cruising around furniture but has no balance to stand independently/ walk! They’ll do it when they’re ready! Xx
My son started walking independently at 15 months. This is normal! X
Average age for children walking independently is 15 months but bracket is generally 12-18 months. Mines been the same just started taking 2 steps on her own very wobbly. Nothing to worry about
Don’t worry, my son is 22 months and only just took his first steps on Wednesday 😅😂 Physio were initially concerned as over the 18 month mark but he’s been diagnosed hypermobile and also with right sided body weakness so the concern dropped a bit as it was always going to take him longer with this. Some children just take a little longer…. But trust me, as a parent who’s child has just started walking, enjoy the stage she’s at! It’s a bloody nightmare when they’re off and confident about it😂😂xx
As Courtney says, enjoy it while it lasts. My 12 month old has been walking since 10 months and is now at the climbing and standing on everything stage. It's mental! My oldest started walking at 14 months so please don't worry.
Not even close. He's cruising everything but hasn't showed signs of walking yet.
@Kelly same 🤣 & her big sister turned 2 in January & they're both climbing everything together. It's wild 😂
13 months is still early, sounds like she is just where she should be x
