Noisy sleeper!

I don’t know how else to put it apart from my 10 week old is such a noisy sleeper… but it only seems to be when he is in his next to me crib in the bedroom. He isn’t noisy when he is asleep in his Moses basket, car seat or pram. The best way to describe the noises are like a dinosaur (I know that sounds dramatic but it’s true). They are so loud and infrequent, so not all the time, but maybe every 10 minutes for half hour or so. They are so loud that they keep me awake and wake me up, I’m just not sure what to do or if there is anything I can do?! Just seems so bizarre that it isn’t all the time and there doesn’t seem to be a reason for it (right temperature, burped etc) Anyone else in the same boat or any advice would be amazing!

My boy is exactly the same!! He's not usually noisy on the first stretch of the night, but after his feed he's always grunting away!

@Louise good to know that we aren’t alone. Have you found anything that helps at all? Or anything that might be worth trying? X

It's likely just linked to active sleep, maybe cos he's sleeping longer or more deeper if it's at night? It should settle down by around 4 months

Why son was the same but now he is 3 months and he doesn’t do it anymore

My 10 week old is exactly the same! To the point he ends up waking himself up

It’s normal, but I’ve also always wondered why she never makes the same noises when she’s asleep in the car/pram/on me…total mystery!

This is my boy, he is such an active sleeper, its exhausting. I end up awake for hours as he tosses and turns, he's 10 weeks today so hoping it'll settle soon x
