Vomiting and no interest in feeding?

My little boy started vomiting about 3am and has been on and off all day. He went about 8 hours without vomiting and then was sick again before bed just after a feed I'm still mainly breastfeeding (he is nearly 11 months but not big on food yet) and has spent about 1/4 of the time he usually does on the boob. 35 minutes compared to the usual 2 hours in a day. Obviously the repeated vomiting, and the less frequent/long feeds had me concerned already but now he's just woken up and didn't even want a feed at all 😭 I'm worried sick about dehydration or something worse being wrong. He's a small baby as it is I really don't need him to be losing any weight or stop feeding because of this I'm so worried. I'll be getting a doctor's appointment in the morning. Has anyone had anything similar happen? Any reassurance? Please 🙏

Any other symptoms? Is he sleepier than normal? Fever? Diarrhoea? Only asking as unsure what advice or reassurance to give. Try offering boob and water or squash (for extra calories) as often as possible! If he has any favourite foods or fruit, make sure to offer. Things like watermelon and cucumber have loads of water and could help! Xxx

sounds like a sickness bug so follow normal procedure for that, if hes dehydrated try lots off fruit and veg and have water to hand all day, try avoid dairy and any harsh meats x

Not sleepier than normal today, really sore bum after 2 poos in half an hour even with a layer of sudocrem after the first. Offering boob when he wants it and always have his water bottle out as well. The fruit is a great idea, off to the shops in the morning, thank you ladies
