Breech baby moved before C-section?

Hi , has anyone breech baby moved before their planned C-section? What did the hospital do? Did they allow the C-section anyway? Our baby has been breech/transverse/ unstable lie the whole pregnancy. I’ve not thought about a vaginal birth because of this , booked in for a C-section next week at 39 weeks. I’m worried the baby will turn before the op and they will try and steer me towards a natural birth

Had a breech baby via c section and tried flipping her with a version however I do not recommend it was so painful and unsuccessful. I ended up going in labor at like 38 weeks and had to have c section because she was still breech. However they told me that if she was flipped they would have me deliver naturally (which I was hoping for bc the recovery for c section was so much worse)

I would think the only way they would cancel it c section is if u go into labor before your scheduled c section and baby was in position. My baby was transverse. I delivered at 40 weeks. The recovery was rough. Still kinda is 15 months pp

I would just be clear with them that if the baby turns you still want the C section. Most hospitals are supportive on what the birthing parents wants these days

I think if the baby turns before then, it means there is a chance of the baby going back to breech before (or during) labour so they would probably give you the choice of going forward with the planned c-section or not but it might depend on your health provider. If they find out the baby is in a cephalic position during the ultrasound on the day of your c-section, you can usually choose but they probably prefer to go ahead with the c-section so I don't think they would try to push for a natural birth.

My daughter was breech for the last 10 weeks of my pregnancy and she never ended up moving! I wanted them to try and flip her because I really wanted a vaginal birth but they said because she was my first baby it was too risky for me and for her

I had an anterior placenta which was one of the reasons I was booked for a c section, it ended up moving but I still had my c section. I asked the hospital what would happen if I went into early labour and they told me I’d still have the c section it would just be classed as emergency c section
