"Don't run me over!"

Have you also experienced people yelling to you not to "run them over" when you're out with the buggy? I experience that quite a lot and I am wondering if it's my speed of walking or the size of my buggy (double buggy) is intimidating for people but I find it a little bit ridiculous? I feel like I always keep space. I do however rush a lot on many days because I have so much to get done quickly so I take over people if I see that they are walking extremely slow in front of me..

Lol, no?? I would probably shout "better get out the way then"

@Dominique Wish I wasn't so polite sometimes😭

I haven’t experienced this but unless you know you have actively done something wrong, I would ignore them. People love a passive aggressive comment especially when they think they are the only people that matter on the street. If you are in a rush, then you can walk with speed whilst trying to say excuse me to everyone but in this day and age no one is listening. I always overtake people and I’m a very slow walker. People can use their eyes and move around you too but they assume that as you have a pram, you will be slower than them so won’t move.

@Jayne Do nothing wrong but I am sensitive and these comments get to me and I start questioning whether I am wrong 😭 I just need to get to places!

Honestly, I am giving fewer fucks by the day. You are a parent with a baby, people can go do one! You are allowed to take up space

You should not have to be polite to people who are rude to you, but you can most certainly put them in their place

My mind set is very much at the point of if you walk in front of my pram then that’s a you problem not a me problem
