Mine has been waking up around 5:30am too…I take her milk and change her diaper if needed and she falls back asleep until her 3 year old sister wakes her up around 7-7:30 (they share a room). I don’t let her stay up, she stays in her crib. I don’t want her getting used to waking up that early 😂 it could be a regression, but mine is also getting her 2 year molars, I can feel all four of them about to break through the gums. So I’m sure that has been bothering her.
Either cut nap or later bedtime. There is no recommendation for sleep as sleep needs differ to every person. It’s likely sleep needs have reduced. I’d cut the nap/later bed time or a mic if both for 2 weeks and it should make a difference
Yep same for us at 23 months used to sleep until 7 now is at 6 o clock and also shorter naps so I don’t think oversleeping is the issue for us and didn’t want to go to bed until 10 last night 🥲 she used to be able to go to sleep by herself and now doesn’t want to either and either me or daddy have to be there
@Shaina right now her bedtime is 730 and she typically sleeps noon-2. What time does your son take his hour nap?
When is bedtime? We struggle with this as well. Also, sleeping environment is important to note. I noticed these last two weekends he sleeps in until at least 615-630 but his nap is an hour max and he goes to bed around 8 (we have also been on the go). On weekdays (his normal routine) is to sleep two hours for nap and then he gets up between 5-6 am. So I think it’s both a phase as well as cutting the nap time
