no i haven’t got any specific birth plan, just for him to arrive safely. My concern is iv heard it is much more intense and painful but im open to all pain medication
Message me, I had an induction and it was very positive x
i was induced at 39 weeks and honestly it was so much better than i expected since people told me it hurt more aswell. although it was my first baby so i can’t compare to anything else. for me the pain was so manageable i was on gas and air about 90% of labor is was only towards the last few hours i needed something more and even then it wasn’t too bad. the worst part was the pushing and that’s only cuz she was coming out sideways😅
My induction with my first I used an epidural slept all night till the morning and gave birth. My second I waited and definitely felt the intensity of the contractions as they say but only until I got to 8cm then I opted for an epidural and gave birth that evening. I’d say if you’re open to pain medication then you should be okay.
I was induced and my induction actually went really well. Had one dose of fentanyl around 5 cm for pain relief and then got an epidural at 8 cm. I ended up with an emergency C-section, due to preeclampsia/HELPP, not my induction. It was honestly a great experience up until then.
I had the gel and my experience was great!! I was 1cm when I went in, had the gel inserted and 4 hours later I was 6cm. 6 hours later I was to push. The contractions are more intense but it’s all ok. I had epidural, and needed suction to help get her out as cord was round her neck. But the induction process itself was fine :)
I had the gel put in at 41 weeks and I was 2cm (9:30am). I used a midwife group and went home to labor. I went back to the hospital at 2:30pm and was 6cm and then she was born just before 5pm. I didn’t have any medications it was intense but fast. Not sure if it was the gel or the way I labored but she was ready lol.
Thank you everyone🩵 Today is the day! nerves are high but soo excited🥰 X
Are you wanting to go natural with no pain medication? Or what is your concern about an induction?
