@Kendra yes we use extra strength Boudreauxs and it works wonders! Hasn’t completely taken it away but definitely helps! I just don’t understand why he’s going this much after going less for a week straight? It’s green and liquidy too, but I know that’s pretty normal still
My 1 week old babygirl , every diaper I change is a poop one I rarely change one with just pee and she has a rash to from constantly pooping I feel so bad for her. It's slowly getting better but not going away completely because she keeps pooping. She also eats allot so I figured that's why
My 3 week old goes at least once a feed - usually twice. He’s eating 4+ oz a feed and it’s mostly formula at this point because I can’t produce that much every 3 hours. I usually supplement 2oz of formula with 2oz of breast milk. Is he back up to birth weight? If so, he can tell you when he wants to eat and maybe give you a break with the constant poops! My little dude was on a formula that was causing extra gassiness so we changed him to similac sensitive and he’s been doing a lot better with the poop (smaller amounts between feedings and sometimes just with the feeding now!). He started getting diaper rash, too and we’ve been using mustela diaper cream for the bad days and the earth mama butt cream as kind of a preventative measure when it’s not bad. Highly recommend both! We also have Bordeaux butt paste and desitin but found the others work better on our lil dude!
@Emily pretty much same here! We’ve used Similac 360 sensitive since he was born. He shows 0 signs of upset tummy, he’s not colicky, he never fusses..Just having so many super small green watery poops! It’s almost like not even a real poop more like a wet fart if that makes sense???
Try aquaphor and boudreaux’s butt paste for the diaper rash. I just apply both to my baby after I change his diaper, and make sure you dry his butt before putting it on. My baby poops this often, but he is breastfed. I am not sure what’s normal for formula fed babies, but tell to your pediatrician if you’re concerned.
